Land Acknowledgement: The North Peace Division of Family Practice is situated in Treaty 8 territory on the traditional, ancestral and unceded lands of the Dane-zaa Peoples of the Doig River First Nation, Blueberry River First Nation, and Halfway River First Nation, as well as the Metis Chartered Communities who call these lands home. Acknowledging that we are on the traditional territories of these communities is an expression of cultural humility and involves recognizing our duty and desire to support the provision of culturally safe care to First Nations, Inuit and Metis people in BC.
